One could argue that these devices correspond to a certain media-type. Furthermore, you might want to choose a special device as installation source. Setting severity to enhancement and reassigning. Yes but then you should IMHO make the user select from the devices which are actually present on his system, e.g. /dev/dvd and /dev/dvdrecorder. Thomas, can I get from the sotrage module somehow all CD/DVD devices? There is a global list StorageDevices::cddrives that contains all cdroms hwinfo detects Thanks! I just fixed the labels and left the functionality as it was - it just switched between CD and DVD anyway. Done in SVN for 10.1. |
