when browsing with krusader in directories with many files, krusader crash ,
i tried remove krusader cfg files, and also i tried remove all kde cfg files,
with same result.
If i use different package (from PackMan for suse 9.3) everything is ok

how to reproduce:
	start krusader, browse in /etc or in /sbin, Krusader crash

how many files/directories are in this directory?

in /etc 235  (dir+files)
in /sbin 286 (dir+files)

i just tried it with 2664 files and it didnt crash. testing on rc1 x86_64 with /
etc and /sbin doesnt crash either. can i get a backtrace with kdebase3,qt,
krusader debug infos installed?

it look like same bug, but as i wrote at beginning if i use different package
(same version 1.60 for suse 9.3) bug did not appear.
I just tried it on x86_64, beta4, en locale, same result

can i access this box via SSH somehow? i tried it locally and i cant crash it.

I found similar behaviour in 10.1
I tested it on two different machines. I try new user. 
Krusader is crash continuously with message:
QLayout "unnamed" added to ListPanel "unnamed", which already has a layout
QLayout "unnamed" added to ListPanel "unnamed", which already has a layout
Uh oh.. can't write data..
KCrash: Application 'krusader' crashing...

Sometime it do not ever start and and with SIGSEGV. I cant get any debug info package to trace where SIGSEGV is.

i installed krusader from stable and it do not crash so often now. But it crash every time i go to ~ (which is on nfs).
New version 1.7 is out (12.2.2006) i tested it and it work without any crashing. I disabled patch which is in krusader package.

i just investigate a fix for 1.60.1 and i have a test build of 1.70.0 aswell.
if anyone wants to test it.

the mbuild above is 1.60.1 with patch. mbuild with 1.70.0 is here: 'hydrogen-darix-553'. (just started the build)

Build 1.60.1 with patch work without crash for me.
