Description Steven Robinson 2005-09-12 23:52:11 UTC
When double clicking on a downloaded rpm, the package is opened in Konqueror. Clicking on "Install
Package with YaST" opens YaST2, but before the installation starts, an error pops up "Following packages
haven't been found on the medium: MainActor"

The package to install was: mainactor-5.5.7-suse_9.3.i686.rpm

Problem occurs in KDE under the same conditions.

If click "Use Directory as Source with YaST", error pops "Source not refreshed" but installation continues to
conclusion.

this is not autoyast related
Comment 2 Dirk Mueller 2005-09-13 07:40:32 UTC
its not kde related.

Comment 3 Klaus Kämpf 2005-09-13 07:57:49 UTC
And its even not a YaST problem.

You're trying to install a 9.3 package which depends on "MainActor". However,
this package is not shipped with 10.0.

I'm having the exactly same issue, except only and everytime when I'm attempting to install a source RPM. And the theory about audiokonverter-5.4.1-0.oc2pus.1.src.rpm depending on a package called audiokonverter seems sort of dubious to me...
