apcupsd version on SUSE Linux 10.0 RC1 is:

apcupsd-3.10.17a-3.x86_64.rpm


However, there's an important bugfix release (released in July) for apcupsd. The
bugfix release is version 3.10.18

This version fixes a lot of important USB related problems. 

I'm wondering if it's going to be available for 10.0 as a YOU update? If not,
please consider it for 10.1

I did an update in time of version freeze, where 3.10.17a was the latest version.

3.10.18

Users with USB connections are especially recommended to upgrade. This version
contains changes for compatibility with linux 2.6.12 kernels.

Andreas, should I do an update for YOU, RC3 or only for supplementary?

Hi,

I just checked 10.1 Alpha and apcupsd 3.10.18 isn't there. Well, apcupsd is not
there at all.

Unofficial 10.0 supplementary package is now available at http://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/misc/update_for_10.0/applications/
