Description Ralf Flaxa 2005-09-13 11:28:21 UTC
Formerly we supported to boot from CD2.
This seems to be broken for SL 10.0.
Tested with RC1 and RC2 at my machine at HOME and on
my laptop at work.
It seems the CD is marked bootable because the BIOS
tries to boot from it, spins up the drive, tries for
a long time and then says "Sorry, your BIOS can not boot
from this CD.".
I don't know whether it still is supposed to be working,
but either fix it or do not mark the CD as bootable.
Andreas wanted this to be critical to get on your radar Steffen.

Hm, seems to be tested only once in a year or so - maybe we can drop
this feature.

In any case, m_cd needs a small modification. Rudi, ~snwint/m_cd is an
updated version (it writes a boot info table into the image).

ok, m_cd updated.

closing.
