Do you really think this is a YaST bug? Looks like a kernel problem, doesn't it? Steffen, I have no idea which bootloader we're currently using. Can you please assign it to the appropriate maintainer? I think you have the overview. You forgot to mention that previous SL releases didn't work, too. Press 'Alt' during startup. Does it help? I don't know if other releases failed as well. I didn't power this one one until today. And Yes, pressing ALT during boot does help. But how does one find out about this... ? Reopening with major severity. This is not resloved Your BIOS is broken. You can bring me the notebook for testing after 10.0 is done. |
