Description Stephan Binner 2005-09-13 12:13:07 UTC
pin initially asks for a root password to copy ARCHIVES_10.0.gz from a CD1/DVD
even if only network source paths are configured.
Comment 1 Martin Lasarsch 2005-09-13 12:21:28 UTC
pin isn't looking for configured sources at all. I will only work if you have
cd or dvd to make life easier for beginners. If you have a network source you
probally know hot to copy ARCHIVES.gz

there might be a change in the next version.

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
