Description Martin Lasarsch 2005-09-14 12:28:56 UTC
this bug might be related to 112958 or not a bug at all because of the warning
that it might not work.

RC3, install over SLP(http), custom partitioning, selected a partition as /
and forget to select "format". Pop-up with warnings, ignore them (click no).
Start installation, Storage modification error pops up.

Comment 3 Thomas Fehr 2005-09-14 14:23:35 UTC
YaST does not expect to find and entry for a filesystem (in your case /)
he wants to add in /etc/fstab if he is doing a new installation.

So far I did not think about your use case (not formatting a previusly used root
partition). I probably will change this after 10.0 is finished so that it will
not abort but replace the existing fstab line and log a warning instead.
