We can do this one line change altogether with next security update (probably for 10.0 only). Or wait for 10.1, where we can expect RealPlayer based on new branch, which can use ALSA natively. I need opinion from Real people. Should we provide aoss with YOU or wait for new RealPlayer? I'd recommend aoss with 10.0. Some things worth testing with aoss would be: - a/v sync - multiple sample rates - flash playback via the helix engine Package released for 10.0 with security update to 1.0.6. Package is in STABLE. PPC version was removed from supported platform list and was not fixed. |
