Click on folder with different types og images (tif, gif, jpg, ...).
Click on file type to sort the folder following the file types.
Click on one image to have a view on it.
Than click on "Next Image" or "Previous Image" buttons. This function doesn´t
follow the sorting list. It follows the name sorting list.

This requires API changes, so it can't be done before KDE4 (i.e. quite a long time  
from now). Please report this bugreport at bugs.kde.org for "gwenview" (as that's the  
application providing the image view).
