OpenSuse 10 beta 4 works fine but when I wanted to play Tux racer I get a black
screen also with GL-117. I have with " online update" the Nvidia driver updated.
In Sax2 3D is enabled. When I click on Graphic in Yast nothing happens.
With Alt+F2 I have started Sax2.

Motherboard is A8N Sli deluxe processor 64 bits monitor CTX S762 LCD graphic
card : Asus Geforce 6600 TD

Sure, that you did install RC4? AFAIK we don't offer this version for
download. Attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log.

Nothing obvious I can see in the logfile. Maybe you did specify wrong values
for you monitor(I saw 30-80kHz, 59-75Hz in the config file). gl-117/tuxracer
switch to another resolution with different horiz and vert frequencies, which
might not be supported by your monitor. gl-117 probably tries 1024x768,
tuxracer probably 640x480. Please check the values. You can also try to remove
other resolution than 1280x1024 with SaX2 to prevent these games from
switching to other resolutions.

Problem solved, I have changed Monitor setting : LCD 1024x768@75HZ into
1024x768@60HZ. 75Hz was to high.
Now the 3D games work fine.

Thanks.
