Description Andrzej Waszkiewicz 2005-09-18 21:29:52 UTC
the gnome panle places menu does not want to clear
Comment 1 Rodrigo Moya 2005-09-19 11:18:23 UTC
To remove the places, you have to do it from the file chooser (open it from any
application) or by using the bookmarks menu on Nautilus when in browser mode.

Or are you talking about something different?

Maybe he's talking about clearing the Recent Documents? That's working for me
in RC4; perhaps some of the changes between RC1 and RC4 fixed this.
Comment 3 Claes Backstrom 2005-10-01 14:52:31 UTC
Or is it that hes talking about Network servers. Because I can't remove those.
There are no unmount option when I right click on them.

When I try to delete the network places icons on the desktop it tells me:

"You cannot move the volume "claes on www.mentalbarn.com" to the trash.
If you want to unmount the volume, please use "Unmount Volume" in the popup menu
of the volume."

The network places icons issue is fix. Closing the rest as invalid due to lack of response.
