Kerry, can you investigate please? This dialog has changed considerably in SuSE10.1 and the same strings don't apply. Also the English text refers to "Password" and not to "Passphrase" so it should be left as "Passwort". |
There is a dialog where the user is asked to enter a passphrase. The German translation of this dialog could be improved: In general, I'm not that sure whether we should "Passphrase" with "Passwort". Maybe, it is better to translate it literally as "Passphrase" or use something like "Kennsatz" to make sure that this is not the regular Unix password. We should take a decision whether we want to translate "mount" and "unmount". I vote to use "einhängen" and "abhängen". If we keep "mount" unchanged I's prefer "mounten unter" and not "mounten auf". But maybe, that's just my personal idiosyncrasy ;) In the window title, also say "_das_ Passwort". Button texts in the help text (Abbrechen) and as the button label (Verwerfen) do not match. Instead of "keine Systemdatei" better use the plural form ("keine Systemdateien"). See attachment. In part, German issues were already reported as bug 104591 by Christian Boltz.
