There is no rpm package with acroread (Adobe Reader) on Suse Linux 10.0 RC1, at
least not in the version available in our university.

This is not a bug. The OSS-version of SUSE 10 (the one you can download at
opensuse.org) does not contain the commercial packages. You can download them
from the web, though and the shipped version will also contain these packages.
