Description Alexey Eremenko 2005-09-20 16:04:30 UTC
"The UnionFS is a stackable unification file system which can appear to merge
the contents of several directories (branches), while keeping their physical
content separate. Unionfs is useful for unified source tree management, merging
the contents of a split CD-ROM, merging separate software package directories,
data grids, and more."
This was from official website.

For those of you that are totally new to this great technology please read here:
Knoppix 3.8 and UnionFS: Wow ! Just Wow !

I really recommend it for both SuSE install edition (because it gives additional
scalability to the SuSE OS' file systems), and especially for SuSE Live-DVD,
where this technology makes a revolution !
