Description Börje Jonsson 2005-09-21 18:48:48 UTC
My D-link wireless card is detected and configured by Yast, but does not work.
No interface is activated (ifconfig shows only eth0 - my 3com card - and the
loopback device).
Card model is DWL-G650. The card works with Ubuntu Hoary and Windows.

i assume this is the OSS version of SUSE Linux 10.0

You need the non-GPL part of the atheros driver, but i don't know where to get
it. Reassigning to the responsible person

Installed ndiswrapper from the distribution CD and downloaded the driver from
support.dlink.com. Install instructions at
http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/Distributions#SuSE.

Works perfectly, and I have 108 Mbit network speed...
