Looks like a configuration bug. 1) during update no X related code will be called if your old configuration doesn't work it is because of something different but not X :-) I assume changes to the kernel input interface. 2) 1024x768 is used because your framebuffer is running in that resolution. I assume the display doesn't report it's size. You can check that by calling "hwinfo --monitor" |
