Does "aplay foo.wav" work? If not, check the content of /proc/asound/cards. If no soundcard is listed, it's a boot problem. Try to reconfigure the sound device via yast2 again. (See README.SuSE in alsa package.) No reaction on this bug for a long time. Closing as CANTFIX. |
