Description mike sheridan 2005-09-22 18:18:54 UTC
This bug is against SLES9 SP2. We are not able to select SLES 9 as the
desired product. This is applicable to both 32bit and 64bit.

During an upgrade from SLES9 SP1 to SP2,
the file /etc/init.d/boot.localfs was replaced and so
was missing our dump device creation code. This file
is part of the aaa_base rpm but is not listed as
a "config" file in the rpm

SLES has no open bugzilla and we will not allow the misuse of SuSE Linux for it.

But boot.localfs is no config file, so it is correct that aaa_base does
overwrite it. Else it would break our own updates. You have to write your own
boot script and insert it.
