And what should we do with that? If you have an agreement with the maintainer of
this package, please send it to him via mail. If there is an actual bug/problem
with this package, create a new bug explaining what is wrong and maby attaching
a proposal for a patch. People should know exactly what you changed and why. Tanks.
Comment 3 Casper Pedersen 2005-09-23 10:40:34 UTC
If you read that descriptions it says: "Updated to 2.9.5".

Comment 4 Martin Lasarsch 2005-09-23 11:01:40 UTC
I'm not sure if bugzilla is the right place to submit updates like this.

anyway: assigned to maintainer

Thorsten: please decide what to do with this.

Comment 5 Thorsten Kukuk 2005-09-23 11:25:09 UTC
We have 2.9.5 in autobuild.
And the description is missing all informations about what should
be wrong with the Makefile.
Comment 6 Casper Pedersen 2005-09-23 11:31:31 UTC
Thank you, the one which came with SuSE10 was gnump3d-2.8-4.noarch.rpm.

And the change to the makefile is:
- if [ -e ${CONFDIR}/gnump3d.conf ]; then cp ${CONFDIR}/gnump3d.conf
${CONFDIR}/gnump3d.conf-orig ; fi

As it breaks building the RPM if gnump3d is already installed on the system
where the package is build.

Also the diff for the .conf and the makefile was split in two to make it easier
to maintain.

It is SUSE Linux 10.0 or at lest SuSE 10.0 or SL10.0, but never "10". That's
the version/name for the enterprise products/development.
And yes, SL10.0 cannot have always the newest packages, we have 4,5 month for
updating packages, and you cannot do all this work only at the last two days.

build.rpm has no problems with that and builds it for you as if you use our
autobuild.
