There is no gettext-devel package available for i686 (and perhaps others). I
don´t know whether such things belong here in bugzilla but it´s such important
for building many programs and IMHO has definitely to be added

It is in the installation tree of ftp.opensuse.org and mirrors.

Its perhapsthere but it isn´t insalled, even if I select the category "c/c++programming".
