This would be a bug in the libsmbclient ;( Is this still valid with the current 10.1 beta? Exactly this situation not, but another one. I´ve shared my "home" folder with samba. When I acess it from another SuSE computer it works fine in the folder, but when I go to "home/Desktop" I can´t access the directory, I get a dialog asking me about the password. And your access before is authenticated or anonymous? Does your Desktop directory have special permissions? I've tested to access my own Desktop directory shared by Samba on a SUSE Linux 10.1 from a SUSE Linux system also running 10.1 and din't had any issue. No reaction on this bug for a long time. Closing as CANTFIX. |
