Description Daniel Wolstenholme 2005-09-27 04:13:51 UTC
Kview doesn't work at all. Running it from the command line yields:

kview: error while loading shared libraries: libkdeinit_kview.so: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

libkdeinit_kview.so is present in /opt/kde3/lib, so I don't know why it can't
find it. kuickshow, which is also included in the kdegraphics3-imaging
package, works just fine.

Also, for some reason the kdegraphics3-imaging package wasn't installed, and I
had to download it manually from an FTP site. I installed nearly every KDE
package I could find when I was installing 10.0 RC1 from the CDs, but I guess
I might have missed it, but you might want to check that it shows up in Yast.

did you install the package with yast2 or with rpm? Did you run SUSEconfig
afterwards if with rpm?
Comment 2 Daniel Wolstenholme 2005-09-27 07:04:41 UTC
It was an RPM, and running SUSEconfig fixed it. Sorry about that. I've
marked this invalid.
