Hi,
I use opensuse 10.0 RC1, with kernel 2.6.13-9-default. I have a usb bluetooth
device: Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth
Dongle (HCI mode).
When i plug it in a usb port, the kernel reports: usb 2-2: new full speed USB
device using uhci_hcd and address 4
Bluetooth: HCI USB driver ver 2.8
usbcore: registered new driver hci_usb
hci_cmd_task: hci0 command tx timeout.
And nothing works anymore.
I never had a problem with this device with SUSE 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3. It also
worked nice with fedora core 3 and gentoo.
The kernel is stock.
I can provide any info you may need.

attach the hwinfo and 'ps axf' output when the system hangs.

Actually, the system does not hang. The module just reports that there was a
timeout with the usb device. The rest of the system works as normally.

Is it plugged in through an USB hub? For me this sounds like an USB problem.

No, it's directely connected to a usb port. Only the root usb hub (motherboard) supports it.
