Here the interesting enty in /etc/sysconfig/kernel:

INITRD_MODULES="ata_piix mptspi qla2300 processor thermal fan reiserfs"

Without mptspi the qla2300 driver doesn't find any devices. Is mptspi needed
for qla2300 or is the qla2300 problem an other problem? However, without Xen
both drivers will worke fine:

Fusion MPT base driver 3.03.02
Copyright (c) 1999-2005 LSI Logic Corporation
mptspi: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
Fusion MPT SPI Host driver 3.03.02

*** S O L V E D ***

A new BIOS update has solved my ACPI problems. And with running ACPI the xen
kernel does booting without any problems.
