Description atha v. 2005-10-03 17:53:20 UTC
1 Time I have an error with Bootsplash and KDE (X-Servewr).

4 Times only with Bootsplash.

The Screen is 2/3 drawing and it seems like the Mhz of the screen is to high.
But after the Bootsplash everything is ok...

(I have a Flatscreen, and a Geforce 6600 from MSI)

Bootsplash just uses the framebuffer. Seems like your graphics hardware is a
bit non-standard. I really don't know how to help you with this.

I'll add sndirsch to the CC list of this bug, our X.org maintainer. Maybe he
has a clue about what's going on here.

Not really. Never heard of such issues. We have several 6600 boards (AGP and PCIe) and these don't show such problems. Maybe the frequencies are to high for TFT. Try lower resolutions for testing (640x480, 800x600). Does this help? In this case we cannot help.
Comment 3 atha v. 2005-10-29 12:32:59 UTC
last times it stops. After this posting it got better ... 1 time it happend again. But i had nothing done ... no resulution or frequencies change ...

maybe driver problems?

I hold you on line ...
