beagle is installed as global extension. So only root could remove it (and that doesn't work, because it will be reinstalled some time later automatically). Don't uninstall it but just disable it or remove the beagle package. It's very confusing - why it cannot work properly? When I uninstall beagle package, the extension is still there and only reports error. Extension handling in Firefox 1.0.x is really annoying. We will not fix this for this version. Firefox 1.5 will be much better in respect to that. close for 10.0 resp. Firefox 1.0.x |
