If you do a fresh installation of SL 10.1 alpha1 into VMware 5.0 or VMware 5.5
RC1 the installation stops at the point where YaST2 should partition the HDD. It
just says that this HDD cannot be partitioned with YaST2.
In addition, if you do an upgrade from SL 10.0 RC1 to SL 10.1 alpha1
(pre-partitioned working installation) the partitions are recognized and usable.

kind regards
