Description Karl Eichwalder 2005-10-05 11:54:44 UTC
While closing the system somehow starts sleeping (the sleep light starts
breezing). If you open it again, you can see some Firewall related kernel
messages: SFW2-INext-DROP-DEFLT in=eth0 OUT= MAC=01:... and the keyboard is dead.
It still answers pings and sometimes it is still possible to login with ssh.

At least, we must add a warning to the release-notes.

arch-team. It works on all "normal" machines.
Comment 2 Olaf Hering 2005-10-05 17:07:37 UTC
right.

bring it in our office for repair.
Comment 3 Olaf Hering 2005-10-05 17:58:41 UTC
you may want to try:

mv -v /lib/modules/*/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/ieee1394.ko /tmp

(yep, I wanted to ask if it is duplicate of #115228).
Comment 5 Olaf Hering 2005-10-06 11:25:45 UTC
its a dup of bug #99589.
I dont know how to fix it. do it that way:

rchal restart
