Description Forgotten User x9UtJpTR1r 2005-10-05 21:25:39 UTC
Installed 10.0 RC1 on a AMD Sempron system with two SATA drives set up under LVM
as a single space Both drive were configured as sda1 and sdb1 164MB(sda1 as
/boot) sda2 and sdb2 swap spaces 4GB each, the balance of the two drives sda3
and sdb3 were set up as an LVM stripe 2 and the root partition was placed on the
set. Installation went normally to the end, when the system rebooted the LVM
module was not loaded so the system complained it could not find
/dev/system/rootlv (logical volume for the root file system). Looks like the LVM
module was not loaded in the initrd file.
