I am pretty sure that this is a duplicate of bug #1207968.

BTW Please fix the test suite description - it is worse than useless:

Looks like extensive copy&paste (and never changed to the real thing) to me.

Since this is all that we ever get for those but reports, please make sure that at least that part is correct. TIA.

The real error and location is the exact same as in bug #1207968:

  lib/bootloader/finish_client.rb:56 
  undefined method `read' for nil:NilClass' (NoMethodError)
