Using the step-by-step guide at https://openzfs.github.io/openzfs-docs/Getting%20Started/openSUSE/openSUSE%20Tumbleweed%20Root%20on%20ZFS.html I found out, that even when /boot is on BPOOL with GRUB2 compatible feature set, when there is another pool (RPOOL) with GRUB2 incompatible feature set then grub2-install fails with *unknown filesystem* error.

Fedora GRUB2 works fine in such setup but there are too many dependency conflicts to use it.
