Audit log is in /var/log/audit/audit.log and not in /etc/audit/audit.log. In /etc/audit directory are configuration files. This looks like some copy-paste typo

Hi Marko,

Is this applicable to all the SP versions for SLES 15? Also SLES 12 , SP5 and SP4? I see the same in SP12 >> /etc/audit/audit.log

Thanks
Amrita

I have only openSUSE Leap 15.5 and I'm not sure about other versions but it doesn't make any sense to keep log files in /etc instead of /var/log. I'm pretty sure this is just a typo (or bad copy-paste) here. I don't know about other documents.

Yes , correct I ve tested and confirmed that the path is /var/log/audit/audit.log
