When one opens a .heic image (e.g. https://github.com/dsoprea/heic-exif-samples/blob/master/image1.heic) in Gwenview, it shows the following error message:

Loading ‘image1.heic’ failed
Gwenview cannot display

Tested with Gwenview 23.04.3
