There is an upstream bug in Mariadb 11.0.2 (currently distributed in Tumbleweed): https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-31443

The bug prevents Mariadb to successfully upgrade from 10 to 11 on database that contains older tables.

Can you upgrade the package in the Tumbleweed repository to 11.0.3?

I do not see it at https://downloads.mariadb.com/MariaDB/ yet.
