# dracut -q /tmp/foo
dracut[W]: Could not fsfreeze /tmp

I suppose tmpfs should be added to the list of types not to fsfreeze

Upstream commit https://github.com/dracutdevs/dracut/commit/09d3ec1648822d84e95b274b60cb51b80e8f49f9 already backported in https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1099026, included since snapshot 20230719
