Description Ana Guerrero 2023-07-27 11:41:24 UTC
## Observation

After the update of libnvme (1.4 -> 1.5) and nvme-cli (2.4 -> 2.5), one of the nvme_checks in openQA is failing.

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-nvme@uefi fails in
[nvme_checks](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3458548/modules/nvme_checks/steps/39)

## Test suite description
Maintainer: rbrown@suse.de; Basic installation test to confirm that installing and booting to an nvme as your root disk works

## Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build [20230726](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3457326)

## Expected result

Last good: [20230725](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3454650) (or more recent)

## Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: [latest](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/latest?arch=x86_64&distri=opensuse&flavor=DVD&machine=uefi&test=nvme&version=Tumbleweed)
Comment 2 Daniel Wagner 2023-10-12 13:27:44 UTC
The nvme-cli v2.6 libnvme v1.6 update has a fixed.

The problem was that read command wrote additional information on the
terminal which let the QA test trip over.
