To get AppImages to work (I tried pCloud and Filen) you will need the package "fuse" to get them working:

fuse: failed to exec fusermount: No such file or directory

Cannot mount AppImage, please check your FUSE setup.
You might still be able to extract the contents of this AppImage
if you run it with the --appimage-extract option.
See https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE
for more information
open dir error: No such file or directory

These packages are already included in the base system:

fuse-overlayfs
fuse3
gvfs-fuse
libfuse2
libfuse3-3

Is it possible to add "fuse" as well?

Nope. We will not add obsolete packages to support AppImages.
