Description Chenzi Cao 2023-08-11 15:31:26 UTC
The sle-module-certifications in 15SP6 is not existing yet.

## Observation

openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP6-Online-x86_64-installer_extended@64bit fails in
[verify_module_registration](https://openqa.suse.de/tests/11781538/modules/verify_module_registration/steps/1)

## Test suite description
The scenario is thought to contain extended tests. Check EULA translations are available for another language and return back to English US to continue installation. Check pre-selected modules in scc_registration. Check release notes.

## Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build [9.1](https://openqa.suse.de/tests/11756903)

## Expected result

To setup sle-module-certifications in sle15sp6.

## Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: [latest](https://openqa.suse.de/tests/latest?arch=x86_64&distri=sle&flavor=Online&machine=64bit&test=installer_extended&version=15-SP6)
Comment 1 Thomas Schmidt 2023-08-15 08:01:49 UTC
There was no sle-module-certifications module requested so far for 15SP6.
Comment 2 Radoslav Tzvetkov 2023-11-23 12:51:04 UTC
yes. We also need to enable it for sle-module certifications in 15SP6.
Unfortunately, Katia is on leave to clarify this.
Comment 3 Will Stephenson 2023-12-01 15:09:24 UTC
Hi Rado, did you add me as a request to activate this module in SCC?
Comment 4 Radoslav Tzvetkov 2023-12-06 14:08:33 UTC
Yes, please activate this module
Comment 5 Thomas Schmidt 2023-12-06 14:26:41 UTC
Could you please share the valid migration paths and base products?
Comment 6 Thomas Schmidt 2023-12-21 09:48:26 UTC
@Rado ping
Comment 7 Radoslav Tzvetkov 2023-12-27 11:05:14 UTC
Chenzi Cao, the tests for this should wait until at least January. The exact specifications should come from Marcus/Katia.

Let's update it here and in confluence.
Comment 8 Marcus Meissner 2024-01-25 15:35:39 UTC
Thomas, do you still have the form used for 15 sp5 certifications module.

I would have hoped that sle-release-coord would have picked up adding it in the meantime for each SP :(
Comment 9 Thomas Schmidt 2024-01-25 16:49:37 UTC
Details of the 15.5 module are here: https://scc.suse.com/admin/products/2558
You just need to tell us for SP6: architectures, for which base products it should be available and which migration should be supported.
Comment 10 Marcus Meissner 2024-01-25 17:03:30 UTC
its basically the same set as with SP5 again.

aarch64, ppc64le, s390x, x86_64

and SLES, SLES 4 SAP, SLES 4 HPC, SLERT , SLED

migration should be supported: yes
Comment 11 Thomas Schmidt 2024-01-25 17:50:14 UTC
Migration from 15.5 or also older?
Comment 12 Marcus Meissner 2024-01-26 08:25:33 UTC
15-sp3, 15-sp4 and 15-sp5
Comment 13 Thomas Schmidt 2024-01-26 10:45:31 UTC
Ok, we'll take care. FYI: The certifications module 15SP5 was only migratable from 15SP4.
Comment 14 Swayammitra Tripathy 2024-02-05 15:19:19 UTC
Hello SSC Team,
Any update on this issue?
Comment 15 Likhitha Priya D 2024-02-09 12:04:13 UTC
Hello,
We've enabled the certifications module for SLE 15SP6!

Please note that SLE Real Time 15SP6 is not available/enabled on SCC yet. So we couldn't enable the certifications module for it. We have enabled the cert module for all the remaining base products mentioned in the request.
Comment 16 Likhitha Priya D 2024-02-19 07:58:38 UTC
Closing the bug as the requested module has been enabled. Please reach out to us if you notice any issues.
Comment 17 Likhitha Priya D 2024-02-19 08:01:27 UTC
Closure note: The requested module has been enabled
Comment 18 Chenzi Cao 2024-02-19 09:07:16 UTC
Thanks, I checked it on SCC, it is already enabled, I verify here, thanks.
