A dup of bug 1215523 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1215523 *** |
Created attachment 869650 [details] message block spammed into /var/log/messages This issue is placed into component `kernel` instead of `xfce` because it appeared in the kernel upgrade from 5.14.21-150400.24.81.1-default to 5.14.21-150400.24.84-default I did yesterday evening, and becoming active this morning. Note, the xfce desktop was not upgraded. My workaround for the issue was going back to kernel .81 The moment I am logging into the xfce desktop the log file `/var/log/messages` is spammed with the attached message block, at a rate of several MB/sec. Logging out of the desktop stops the spamming. The message block looks to come from the kernel.
