Folks:

Iǘe had this posted on the Gecko Github site for some time, but problem persists in my Gecko Rolling MATE install as shown in the title, typing a quotation makes it an ümlaut"and then after the second quote, hitting space bar turns the second umlaut into a quote hash, but doesn´t add the space, as I have demonstrated in subject line and again in the body of the text.

Problem has been going on for at least a month, doesn´t get resolved with upgrades . . . .  I have a straight TW install, and a Leap 15.6 install on this same machine w/o this issue.  Only the Gecko install seems to have the problem.  Machine is ´12 Mac Pro . . . I have a newer ´20 linux laptop with a Gecko Plasma install, no problems with it.

Thanks.  The problem has been going on for awhile, doesn't seem to be fixed in the regular zypper dups . . . .

Problem still continues in my Gecko rolling install, as of yesterday . . . basic typing is problematic when using quotation marks.  Please advise.
