Description Igor Kuznetsov 2023-11-12 11:11:53 UTC
Downloaded openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20231108-Media.iso and found what touchpad did not work on this version of installer. Laptop is Lenovo Thinkpad T480.
Comment 1 Stefan Hundhammer 2023-11-12 22:51:23 UTC
This is a problem of X11 or of the kernel, not the installer.
Comment 2 Stefan Dirsch 2023-11-12 23:23:25 UTC
Ok. I would need the X logfile for installation. It should be in /var/log/Xorg.0.log, but I'm not sure how to copy that from installation and attach it to Bugzilla here.
Comment 3 Takashi Iwai 2023-11-13 09:17:13 UTC
Is it a problem only on the installer, and the touchpad works after the installation? Or it still doesn't work after the installation?
Comment 4 Stefan Dirsch 2023-11-13 10:46:34 UTC
Yeah. That would be interesting to know. In case it's possible to install the system without touchpad or USB mouse is around.

Comment 7 Stefan Dirsch 2023-11-15 11:16:26 UTC
Ok. So latest TW version fixed it again. Therefore closing as fixed again.
