See Blink, and cf. 1st Blanch. 1913 Webster From that, I'd expect that "blank" would make the screen white, not black. Screensavers do sometimes make the screen black, but I'm not sure "blank" is the word I'd use to describe that behavior. Haha. In this case, I believe blank as in lack. Or lack of energy being using by the screen -- blank. Is this still happening Stanislav? What theme should I try. I don't have latest version installed yet, but with version 0.0.20 it occurs for example with: Gtk theme: bluebubble, Bumblebee (not in SuSE) (and probably all pixmap bg themes) Screensaver themes: Blank screen, Pictures folder Yes, gnome-screensaver 0.0.25 still has this bug. I'm seeing this with a "Blank" screen when using the SphereCrystal theme (pale-background pixmap theme which we ship by default), so it's still valid.
