The MicroOS VMX images don't grow / automatically. The openQA test didn't detect this because sfdisk does not show any unpartitioned space because of the backup GPT mismatch.

Best option is probably to enable growpart + resizefs unconditionally, but there's a race condition with the / remount (boo#1156421).
