Description Rodrigo Moya 2005-10-07 21:06:41 UTC
When using Spanish accented characters, the sorting order is wrong in banshee,
as seen in the attached screenshot.

In spanish, an accented A (Á) is supposed to be sorted as a normal A

Rodrigo: Is banshee being run in a Spanish locale (with associated LC_COLLATE), or is this something banshee should Just Know?

Aaron: Is banshee using the locale to do sorting?
Comment 3 Mark Gordon 2005-10-27 19:58:32 UTC
I'm adjusting the summary. Please correct it if it's not right.
Comment 4 Rodrigo Moya 2005-10-28 09:16:09 UTC
I'm running it in an English locale, although, IIRC, rhythmbox sorted it correctly
Comment 5 Mark Gordon 2006-05-23 17:28:03 UTC
I'm not sure how an accented A is supposed to be sorted in an English locale. I'm not sure what locale rhythmbox was running in. Does banshee sort it correctly in a Spanish locale?

Rodrigo?
Comment 7 Rodrigo Moya 2006-08-07 14:07:13 UTC
Let's close it, since it is indeed on an English locale.
