Description SMASH SMASH 2023-11-29 11:43:01 UTC
HAProxy before 2.8.2 accepts # as part of the URI component, which might allow
remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or have unspecified other
impact upon misinterpretation of a path_end rule, such as routing
index.html#.png to a static server.

I *think* the issue was introduced with this commit [0]. Before this commit, request H1_MSG_RQURI requests should fall in the default switch branch, thus leading to spotting request.

If this is correct, the following codestreams are affected:
- SUSE:SLE-15-SP1:Update
- SUSE:SLE-15-SP2:Update
- SUSE:SLE-15-SP4:Update
