Bug 1218522

There is a bug in 5.71 which has just been rolled out to all Tumbleweed users, causing devices not to connect until re-paired and this fix does not persist through suspension or rebooting - so basically this release breaks BT completely. I've had to do a snapper rollback to be able to type and mouse...

A patch has been merged upstream, but no new release as yet. Bluez devs have said that a new release will not be coming soon, as "There are some other regression [they] want to be fixed before 5.72." So it seems 5.71 isn't really a good call.

Accordingly, I'm hoping the patch could be applied to OpenSUSE's 5.71 in the interim? Or perhaps it might be worth considering rolling back to 5.70 instead? That kind of decision is well above my paygrade ;)
