kate editor doesn't show in GNOME activities search for launching. It doesn't matter whether it's installed via zypper and the openSUSE repos or the beta version on flathub, neither will list in the activities search when typing "kate". What shows up is the GNOME Software entry as if it wasn't installed, but not the actual launch entry to directly start it.

This is on openSUSE Slowroll with latest regular updates installed, with GNOME Shell 45.2. The kate version in the flathub beta right now is 23.08.4.
