It appears that the whole problem is due to the incorrect packaging/building of the hald package. There was a report (http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse/2005-Oct/1101.html) that simply rebuilding the hald package solves the problem with missing hald-addon-usb-csr. Sure, that bug is known for a long time, but we didn't find it until now. If a addon fails to load, hald segfaults sometimes. I submit a new package for YOU update with the missing addon. But we need also to fix the problem with crash with missing addons. *** Bug 119210 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 127771 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** released. Can we close this one? Yes close for the problem with missing addon. I open a new bug for the real problem. |
