I was thinking for a moment that it might refer to the session, so it might make sense that "none is connected" - as in "no session is connected". But that probably wouldn't make any sense in this context - the "single session" when "no session is connected". So I guess you are right. But this fix will go to Factory / Tumbleweed for future versions to avoid breaking all the translations. Eh, sorry, I misunderstood you. You think that it should be "none" instead of "noone". That's wrong; for the reason that I explained in comment #1: This does not refer to any sessions ("none"), it refers to any users "if noone is connected"; as in "if nobody is connected". So the text is in fact correct. I checked the Oxford English dictionary an noone is not a valid word. (I am a native English speaker, but of course can be incorrect). It does not make sense to me. Your explanation for me includes correct English so to me the following would be grammatically correct: "With Session Management, multiple users can interact with a single session, and the session may persist even if no user is connected." or "With Session Management, multiple users can interact with a single session, and the session may persist even if no one is connected." I think the first example is clearer for a both English and non-native English speakers. Maybe "noone" is not the correct spelling, but it's a very common one. Any change in such an area induces some dozen developer hours that can be spent on something productive instead; not to mention the broken translations in all the other languages. |
